The Network Branded Prepaid Card Association has become the Innovative Payments Association to better reflect the innovative work that its members are doing.
In the latest episode of the podcast, CEO Brian Tate talks about why the Association changed its name and its plans for 2019. We also discuss the issues facing the industry and the Association’s plans to deliver more content to its members.
As 2019 progresses, the association plans to continue working on the definition of brokered deposits with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. and the state laws on unclaimed property. The IPA also will continue working to help its members prevent and mitigate fraud with its Financial Crimes Task Force and Law Enforcement Alliance Program.
The IPA also plans to host a number of webinars and events this year. The first will be our annual conference. This year’s Power of Prepaid will be held April 8-10, in Washington DC. You can register here.
